New Song: Black River

Can you guess what band’s sound influenced this one?

Showing a friend the lay of the land on the guitar and he kept playing these little phrases and going back to them.  I said, hey.  That could be a song.  That chord’s an E and that chord is an A.  Lots of songs use that chord progression.

Sometimes it takes other people to give you a kick in the pants.  I’ve been musically clogged for a while.  Felt good to record even if it’s a songlet.
